What is Longship Supply Co.

Longship Supply Co. started in early 2020 as an idea. Covid-19 put a damper on life and most people were stuck inside wondering what would happen next. In those days of staying at home and being safe I grew out my beard.

Yep, as most guys will attest to, the days of staying at home and working, most of us tried growing out our beards. Mine was pretty successful but it also got me thinking. I need to take care of this lovely mane of beard hair. This is what led me down the path of making soaps and beard oils.

I knew I wanted to use all natural ingredients to care and maintain my beard. I wanted to make sure whatever I was using wouldn’t damage my hair and skin. A lot of research went into finding places where I could get good ingredients that were ethically sourced and taken care of.

The soaps I make are luscious on the skin and smell incredible. Making things with your own two hands gives you such a rush of excitement. Never knowing how something will turn out until you break it open from the mold and cut it is such a high.

So today Longship Supply Co. is just a simple idea to bring the best soaps to the people. The soaps are inspired by gods and locations as well as many other things. That means you get soaps that are colored and scented with those ideas in mind. From colors that represent the gods and locations to the scents that were in offers to those gods or that come from those locations. Everything is carefully handpicked and tested. The scents are strong and bold but sometimes subtle. But that’s what the gods were.
